Steam cleaning lifts the dry soil, grit, sand and cooking film that dull a carpet, and the dust mite waste that settles at the base of the pile. Most spills and traffic marks come out completely.
Some things do not. A bleach mark is missing colour rather than a stain, and a burn is damaged fibre. Old dye stains can lighten without vanishing. We tell you on the day what we expect to lift before we start, so the price you agreed is for a result you understand.
