What a mattress cleaning service actually does
You spend a third of your life on it and it is the one thing in the house that never gets washed. A mattress absorbs sweat, skin cells and body oils every night, and all of that soaks into the surface where a vacuum cannot reach.
Our mattress cleaning service uses hot water extraction with a dedicated upholstery tool. Heated solution goes into the surface under controlled pressure and comes straight back out, carrying the soil with it. That extracts dust, skin cells, sweat residue and dust mite waste from inside the surface rather than moving it around on top.
We describe what the process removes. We do not claim to kill anything, because that is a claim we could not substantiate and plenty of operators make it anyway.

Professional mattress cleaning, step by step
A hired machine puts more water into a mattress than it takes out, and a wet mattress core is a far worse problem than a dirty surface. Control is the whole job.
1. Inspect and identify
We check the construction, find every mark, and ask what caused them. Pillow top, memory foam, latex and traditional spring all behave differently under moisture.
2. Dry soil removal
High suction vacuuming of the surface, sides and seams first. Most of what is in a mattress is dry particulate, and wetting it before lifting it just sets it.
3. Pre treat the problem areas
Urine, sweat lines at the head, and any stain get treated individually and given dwell time before extraction rather than being chased afterwards.
4. Hot water extraction
Controlled moisture in, nearly all of it straight back out. The tool is matched to the surface so the core never gets soaked.
5. Spot work
Anything still visible is worked individually, so the whole surface comes up evenly before the dry down.
6. Speed the dry down
We set airflow across the surface and tell you how long to leave it. Usually 2 to 4 hours, and you sleep on it that night.

Getting urine out of a mattress
This is the single most common reason people call us about a mattress, and it is the one job where a surface clean is guaranteed to fail.
Urine passes through the cover within seconds and soaks into the foam or the spring layer underneath. Cleaning the top removes the stain and the smell for a few days. Then the salts left behind draw moisture out of the air on the first humid night and the smell comes back, usually stronger than before.
