Why there is a minimum
Every job needs a van, a truck grade extractor, setup, pack down and travel across a metro area. That is roughly an hour of fixed cost before anything is cleaned, which is why the established Melbourne operators publish one too.
Same day saves you 10 percent
Book us for today and you get 10 percent off. Eleven Melbourne operators advertise same day availability and not one of them pays you to take it.
The price is fixed before we book
You get a written number with the minimum stated up front. No hourly meter, and nothing changes on the day unless you add something to the job.
Prices are a guide for standard domestic curtains and blinds in average condition. Heavily soiled, delicate or antique fabrics are quoted separately and always confirmed before we book.
Curtain cleaning packages for the whole house
Doing more than a few curtains? Any curtain, any size, one fixed price per package, and same day bookings take a further 10 percent off.

What happens when we clean your curtains on site
On site curtain cleaning is a sequence, and the order matters. Most of the result comes from the first two steps, which are the ones a rushed clean skips.
We start by testing the face fabric and the lining separately, because the lining often behaves differently. Then loose dust comes off top to hem before any moisture goes near the fabric, so it is lifted rather than turned into a mark. Only then does the low moisture clean start, with controlled heat and the curtain still hanging. That is onsite curtain cleaning done properly, and nothing has to be taken down or rehung.
- Fabric and lining tested separately before we start
- Dust removed top to hem first, dry
- Low moisture clean with controlled heat, on the rail
- Dry on the rail in 2 to 4 hours, window open
- Mobile curtain cleaning near me, in every Melbourne suburb
- Same day curtain cleaning, 10 percent off when booked for today
Why the curtains should not come down
Taking curtains down is where most of the damage happens, and it is the part people forget to price in.
Headings keep their shape
Pinch pleats and pencil pleats distort when the hooks come out and go back in a different place. Cleaned on the rail, they sit exactly as they did.
Linings stay the same length
Face fabric and lining shrink at different rates when they are soaked. That is the lining you see hanging below the hem after a laundry.
An honest limit
Some curtains genuinely have to come down, such as a curtain that is torn at the heading. We tell you that before we book, not on the day.
